Getting messy is good for the soul.
Through my artwork I explore the possibilities of various mediums in an environment that doesn’t stress about messes or failure. The chaos of the experimentation begins to settle as I relinquish control to the natural drying process, that I silently observe in my perpetual search for predictability.
Each painting is made of so much liberation, yet such struggle for control. The contrast can be seen in the details of the final shapes, colours and textures as well as in the big picture that evokes a certain rugged elegance.
