After making perfect circles for patterns, I moved on to unperfected circles for patterns. Not a far leap but definitely a different effect. Again a delicate dance between types and textures of paint, and trying to figure out which ones play well with others.
Sticking with my 70s vibes I picked these colours from one of the many dollar stores I scoured for experimental products. There are a few cracks in this piece, I learnt and continue to learn that paintings are not finish until they dry - so much transformation in that time. This one is coated with pouring medium and belongs in a home that appreciated subtle imperfections.
