After making perfect circles for patterns, I moved on to unperfected circles for patterns. Not a far leap but definitely a different effect. Again a delicate dance between types and textures of paint, and trying to figure out which ones play well with others.
These paints are all the same make and model so they dried really flat and uniform - a first for my latex experiments. The more zoomed out images need to be reshot, the closeups are a more accurate representation of the colours. Yes, a dream - or nightmare - colour palette, depending on your stance on pastels!
