This painting was made in my first Vancouver apartment, using squeeze bottles. I was cleaning out my paints and needed to finish some product - and who doesn't need another black and white painting?!
When finishing the last row in the checkerboard pattern, my squeeze bottle farted and sprayed across several squares... et voila! I made it messier by recreating the same spray pattern with pouring medium, making for a mixed shine and mat finish. I like how edgy this one looks, I'd be happy to trade this for a jacket with the same attitude!
