When I pour paint to make some of my other painting styles, the overflow left on my drop sheets dry to be the most unique designs and shapes. The byproducts from Catcher in the Fly and Venus Flytrap made this prototype where I clipped and collaged the leftover paint. I am really drawn to the raw texture and the random pattern. I like this style and I'm still working on how to tweak it for best results.
The strips are collaged and glue gunned to a piece of plywood. A 3/8" layer of Art Resin covers the form for a thick glass box finish.
