Golden Geese (2/3) | 7"x 7"

kabemade

My Calgary apartment had these 3 golden frames that accidentally got packed up in my belongings, I made good use of them in Fort Mac. I love the shape of the wet paint when and am disappointed to see it flatten as it dries. This motivated me to make some wall art out of paint, so I could emulate the sense of drama the wet paint created.

This piece is made of clay, painted in acrylic and built up with epoxy. I can't believe I don't have a side angle shot, I will update it when I can. An inch of epoxy encapsulates the clay giving an impressive glass-box-like finish.
